When we have a huge amount of figures and statistics in addition to a huge amount of information, there is an urgent need of an efficient system that can combine them in an organized, simple and professional way in order to clearly and efficiently present them to the readers or the viewers. This is the so-called \u201cdata journalism\u201d in terms of media. This training course is designed for journalists working in printed press or in TV channels to provide them with the skills of gathering information and present it visually in an efficient way.<\/p>\n

\n– Modus operandi of data bases: criteria, formats, tables, scopes, filtration, sorting, data feeding.
\n– How to use spreadsheets (Open Office, Excel) for data sorting and feeding
\n– Basics of Statistics: samples, population, estimates, average, standard deviation, scope
\n– Mistakes that should be avoided when reading or presenting statistics
\n– Data filming: choosing the right format of the tables according to the gathered data (statistics scalar, circular tables, points cloud\u2026)
